Why visit Tamar Valley?

Tamar Valley is a beautiful unspoilt landscape. This remarkable area is full of historic buildings and mines and is hugely popular for its stunning scenery. As I live in Tamar Valley, I know just how beautiful it really is and how lucky I am to leave in such an untouched location.

Many people are still unaware of the wonders that Tamar Valley brings and often don’t know it even exists! So I thought I would give you 2 reasons as to why you should come and visit the valley.

  1. Nature at its best

    The Tamar Valley attracts birdwatchers from all over the country! Apart from kingfishers, herons, spoonbills, egrets, avocets and peregrines, it is also a very valuable site as it is also being used to reintroduce ospreys.

    The Valley is home to many more birds, such as, barn owls, nuthatches, woodpeckers, siskins and many more! The Tamar Valley is also a home for the beautiful otters, deer, foxes, badgers and many more beautiful creations.

  2. Untouched landscapes and rural areas

    The main thing that attracts visitors to the Tamar Valley is the breath-taking landscape. Tamar Valley is full of character and every part of it is unique and beautiful! This area of unspoilt landscape is remarkable and its beautiful rural developed areas are all protected and are kept that way to ensure its charming feel.

    With ancient untouched woodlands, beautiful unique stone bridges and the luscious green farmland, the Tamar Valley offers something special. It is a wonderful place to visit if you like areas that are unspoilt and areas that are not only stunning… but breath-taking.

Tamar Valley is a rare place. Not many places in Britain exist anymore where you can visit and indulge in such untouched beauty!
